    The Position


    We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to help us eliminate the complexities of lighting control and commissioning. We are developing at a fast pace to launch advanced wired and wireless lighting control technologies.  These technologies will interact with our innovative light technology that affects the visual, physiological and psychological needs of people through industry leading performance on spectral tunability, color quality and circadian impact. Together, they enable creation of environments that are dynamic, beautiful and healthy. In an industry ridden with “me-too” products and false marketing claims, we are posed to introduce a holistic way of thinking about light.



    • Build and maintain a deep understanding of various lighting control and commissioning technologies.
    • Perform competitive product analysis, conduct user research, figure out the use-cases and bring this all together to produce insights that drive product and technology roadmap.
    • Lead the product development process, own the product specifications and feature-set and work with cross-functional teams to ensure frictionless execution.
    • Partner with program management team and product line managers to ensure on-time, on-spec and on-budget development.
    • Work with marketing and rest of the product team to generate required documentation to support the deployment of this technology.
    • Establish expertise in this field and educate our sales team, our reps and our users about our technology.

    The Person


    You are a fast learner and love to seize the opportunity to learn something new. You can balance diving in deep to establish domain expertise with system level thinking. You are as comfortable talking to an engineering and software team as you are talking with marketing and sales. You have a passion for the human experience and a fascination with how technology can drive improvements. You have a broad interest and/or skill set covering the arts, science, engineering, business and technology that gives you unique insights to turn challenges into opportunities.



    • BS or MS in business, engineering, computer science, physics or a related field
    • 2+ years of lighting industry experience, preferably focused on wired or wireless lighting commissioning and control
    • Solid technical background with an understanding of and/or experience of 2 or more of the following: Wireless controls (Zigbee, Bluetooth mesh), mobile application development, wired control systems (0-10V, DALI, DMX, Lutron-Ecosystem), color science and the lighting commissioning process.
    • Experience leading the development of innovative new solutions and products, including identification of customer needs, market opportunity sizing, competitive assessments, business case creation and translating customer and business needs into technical product specifications
    • Strong analytical, data management and project management skills
    • Strong business acumen, problem solving, decision-making and leadership skills
    • Ability to work with a cross functional a team and communicate effectively
