    The Position

    We are looking for a Product Manager to help us bring an innovative light technology to market that addresses the visual, physiological and psychological needs of people. The technology enables creation of environments that are dynamic, beautiful and healthy through industry leading performance on spectral tunability, color quality and circadian impact. In an industry ridden with “me-too” products and false marketing claims around human centric lighting, this technology is posed to introduce a holistic way of thinking about light.



    The Person

    • Build and maintain a deep understanding of human centric lighting landscape.
    • Stay on top of the latest research in the field of color science and human centric lighting.
    • Lead the product development process, own the product specifications and feature-set and work with cross-functional teams to ensure frictionless execution.
    • Partner with program management team to ensure on-time, on-spec and on-budget development.
    • Perform competitive product analysis, conduct user research, figure out the use-cases and map out the opportunity landscape to drive market creation for this technology.
    • Establish thought leadership across the industry and educate our users and the public about our technology.
    • Bring this all together to produce insights that drive product and technology roadmap.


    You are a fast learner and love to seize the opportunity to learn something new. You can balance diving in deep to establish domain expertise with system level thinking. You are as comfortable talking to an engineering and software team as you are talking with marketing and sales. You have a passion for the human experience and a fascination with how technology can drive improvements. You have a broad interest and/or skill set covering the arts, science, engineering, business and technology that gives you unique insights to turn challenges into opportunities.



    • BS or MS in business, engineering, computer science, physics or a related field
    • 2+ years of lighting industry experience, preferably focused on color tunable/dynamic lighting products
    • Solid technical background with an understanding of and/or experience of 2 or more of the following: LED technology, color science as it relates to lighting, control systems (DALI, DMX, Lutron-Ecosystem), software and IoT systems.
    • Experience leading the development of innovative new solutions and products, including identification of customer needs, market opportunity sizing, competitive assessments, business case creation and translating customer and business needs into technical product specifications
    • Strong analytical, data management and project management skills
    • Strong business acumen, problem solving, decision-making and leadership skills
    • Ability to work with a cross functional a team and communicate effectively
