    The Graphic Designer brings creativity and a strong sense of concept development, and a vivid imagination within statistical design and data visualization. In other words, we are looking for an innovator to “wow” us with their ability to take statics and data into cool informational graphic designs while keeping the project/product concept outline in mind. This individual must be passionate about design with expert-level presentation abilities. Good verbal and written communication skills are vital to working effectively with colleagues. Flexibility and team-building abilities are critical as well.

    The Position

    • Creation of data visualization and innovative graphic design
    • Day to day communication of information through interactives designs
    • Developing, designing, and producing statistical graphic art
    • Meeting tight deadlines and staying within budget
    • Advanced level knowhow in programs such as Adobe, Python, Unity and InDesign
    • Knowledge of typography, color and production
    • Continuous learning to keep skills and industry knowledge current
    • Ability and willingness to quickly adapt to new technologies

    The Person

    It is desired that the candidate has the following qualifications for the position:

     

    • You have a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience, working in a technology-focused company/media platform.
    • Excellent diverse Interactive knowledge, Web, Mobile, CAD/3D experience is required
    • Advanced Adobe Suite experience a must
    • Expert in the presentation of informational graphics such as charts and diagrams a MUST
    • Expert level experience in developing a set of in statistical graphics a MUST
    • You thrive in fast-paced environments, and you easily toggle between the big picture and the nitty gritty and back
    • You have a demonstrated fluency in working across all mediums, managing to execute innovative and successful designs
    • You showcase a successful history of both thought leadership and executional excellence
    • You are a master communicator with superior written, verbal, and listening skills
    • You are an astute researcher – you know your market, customers and competition better than anyone, and you integrate this information into your strategies
    • You are not afraid of leveraging data to help identify unique design opportunities for the brand
    • You are a talented storyteller: You can craft compelling narratives across different channels, and you know how to match the message to the medium.
    • You possess a strong drive for results, with the ability to manage independently and take calculated risks
    • You are decisive, action-oriented, and able to motivate, and inspire
    • You show a strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities on-time (and without the need for outside prompting).
    • You possess the ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done

    Compensation
