We are seeking a Senior Compliance Engineer with substantial experience in product and engineering compliance.

In this exciting role, you will own the process of developing and executing our compliance program. 

Using strong analytical and problem solving skills the Senior Compliance Engineer will guide critical decision making for the organization. The ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams is extremely important.

The Senior Compliance Engineer will have strong and effective communications skills to coordinate with a cross-functional team to meet regulatory requirements and codes.  These communication skills will be critical when partnering with compliance organizations.

The right candidate will adhere to robust design methodologies for successful project execution and possess good understanding of industry and regulatory compliance standards and codes.

We want someone to develop compliance plans by researching, analyzing, selecting and applying compliance engineering concepts, approaches, techniques and criteria.

Candidate must be intimately familiar emerging compliance engineering practices and standards and be cutting-edge regarding compliance and networked in the community


  • Design and develop compliance program
  • Prevents compliance issues by partnering with engineering
  • Researches and communicates regulatory codes
  • Partners with regulatory agencies and act as EcoSense’s ambassador
  • Attains compliance by resolving non-compliance issues
  • Documents compliance learnings and decisions


  • BS in Engineering or Technology related degree
  • 5 years of professional experience with at least three years of experience as a compliance engineer
  • Thorough understanding of US and related regulations
  • In-depth working knowledge of UL1598, UL 8750, IEC 60598, IEC 61347, Energy Star & DLC
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (less than 20%)
